My Projects
Everything has a beginning and an end. These are the projects that I'm proud of and, at the same time, a part of my history.
ProPace Aarhus
Music and smiles are the best ways to connect and bring people together! That’s why I took this idea and, together with volunteers, developed an international choir – ProPace! – that builds integration through music. I was the leader of this musical group with people from all over the world at one point, there were as many as 70 of us!
We became the choir of the month in Aarhus, sang in community centers, social care homes, and refugee centers. We even traveled together across Norway in a camper van, singing wherever we could and spreading the joy of music! We sang in many different languages to come closer to one another and show others that it’s possible!
Members of ProPace told me that thanks to the choir, they didn’t miss home as much, that it became their musical family and gave them greater motivation and inspiration every day.
ProPace inspired government organizations to create and fund as many as 10 similar music groups across Denmark! This project showed the true power of music — it breaks down language, cultural, and generational barriers.
Music breaks down language, age, and cultural barriers! It's a great way to integrate and spread tolerance, peace, and joy!
Fall in love with Poland
In 2018, I took matters into my own hands and set myself a goal — to raise awareness among Danes about Poland by creatively celebrating the 100th anniversary of regaining independence.
After gathering a group of volunteers and leading social media, crowdfunding, and PR campaigns, as well as securing funding, I managed to create a creative event promoting Poland! The event — along with its social media and traditional media campaigns, grew to an enormous scale! It gained the involvement of the Polish Tourism Organization, the City of Aarhus, Polish Television, and many others!
All of this I did voluntarily, after work hours, to fulfill my mission of showing a creative and fascinating side of Poland! And it worked! Tickets for the Fall in Love with Poland event sold out instantly, 250 people attended, and dozens more were still asking for tickets! In the video next to this text, you can see a short recap of the event. It featured food, dance, singing, art — integration through culture!
I led the Fall in Love with Poland campaign voluntarily, after work hours, to fulfill my mission of showing the fascinating and creative side of Poland!
Once again, I proved that music and art are wonderful ways to bring people together!
