Music Therapy – Express Your Emotions, Reduce Stress

These sessions focus on supporting emotional expression and stress reduction through active music therapy exercises, mainly using simple instruments. They help integrate the group and build openness toward oneself, one’s emotions, and others. The workshops also include elements of mindfulness, body awareness, and recognizing emotions and thoughts.

The sessions combine active and receptive music therapy, creating an accessible and balanced experience. Participants can both express emotions actively and calm down, relax, and reflect through music. I bring various simple instruments so that everyone can find a sound that helps them express what they feel.

Workshops are recommended as a recurring cycle.

Duration: 2 hours (can be extended or shortened)
Target group: adults and teenagers

Mindful Singing Sessions

Mindful Singing is a method combining mindfulness principles with voice emission, singing techniques (especially mixed singing), the Alexander Technique (natural movement), and music therapy. During the workshops, participants build awareness of their emotions and body, releasing tension through music, sound, breath, and movement. They also activate the body and muscles—especially the abdomen, to align their voice within the body while adding rhythm. The sessions also help develop self-awareness, acceptance of diversity, letting go of unhealthy perfectionism, opening the voice, and releasing emotional tension.

Additionally, the exercises foster group connection. Participants learn how to breathe fully and healthily, how to use their voice safely in both speech and singing, and how to recognize where tension and emotions are stored in the body—and how to release and express them.

Mindful Singing offers a break from everyday life — a playful exploration of the voice combined with natural movement, deep breathing, and singing practice.

Workshops are recommended as a recurring cycle.

Duration: 2 hours (can be extended or shortened)
Target group: adults and teenagers

Stress and Emotion Management through Mindfulness and Journaling

Mindful Singing is a method combining mindfulness principles with voice emission, singing techniques (especially mixed singing), the Alexander Technique (natural movement), and music therapy. During the workshops, participants build awareness of their emotions and body, releasing tension through music, sound, breath, and movement. They also activate the body and muscles—especially the abdomen, to align their voice within the body while adding rhythm. The sessions also help develop self-awareness, acceptance of diversity, letting go of unhealthy perfectionism, opening the voice, and releasing emotional tension.

These workshops help participants build awareness of stress, stressors, and stress signals, and teach how to manage them effectively. By cultivating self-observation and mindfulness, participants learn to recognize their habitual reactions to stress. They also support productivity, coping with difficult situations, and building psychological resilience.

Each session includes mindfulness practice focused on:

  • breathing
  • thoughts and emotions
  • body scanning

Participants also learn relaxation and concentration techniques, as well as ways to handle stressors and difficult emotions. They explore the key pillars of mindfulness philosophy and techniques for managing stress and emotions. Workshops also include:

  • gratitude practice
  • coaching-style exercises with journaling therapy elements, helping uncover limiting beliefs related to stress, as well as identifying stress signals, stressors, and associated emotions
  • exercises that strengthen self-efficacy and self-esteem
  • exercises to handle both failures and successes through journaling therapy
  • herapeutic journaling — practical exercises

These workshops are best conducted as a series (ideally at least 6 to 8 sessions).
Workshop duration approx. 1.5–2 hours (shorter 1-hour sessions are also possible, ideally in a recurring cycle)

Relaxation Sessions with Music Therapy

These workshops help participants reduce stress and learn relaxation techniques (Schultz’s and Jacobson’s methods). They include elements of mindfulness, music-based visualization, and carefully selected music tailored through therapeutic programming. A fully practical workshop with a brief introduction.

Session duration: 1 hour (can be extended for questions or discussion)
